As the industry moves away from last-generation consoles, the days of special-edition PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 models are coming to an end. But one fan has taken matters into their own hands, and made an awesome-looking PS3 custom console inspired by Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Featured on South Korea's Ruliweb (via Kotaku), this console is seriously impressive. It matches the overall color and design of the PlayStation 4 model, even featuring the same typo as the PS4 edition. For a closer look, click through the images in the gallery below.

The Phantom Pain launched Tuesday, September 1, for console and PC. The game is receiving high praise across the board, including a 10/10 score from GameSpot.
