It's a big week for Ubisoft's The Division. The company announced today that the shooter's third and final expansion, Last Stand, launches tomorrow, February 28, on all platforms alongside the new 1.6 update.

The expansion and the update launch on all platforms simultaneously. Underground and Survival, the first two expansions, launched first on Xbox One and PC before coming to PS4 later.

The Last Stand expansion adds the new, more challenging Dark Zone North area, as well as a PvP mode called Last Stand. The mode, which is basically organized PvP in the Dark Zone, pits teams of eight against each other and supports matchmaking. A new Incursion, Stolen Signal, is also included.

The free 1.6 update adds new Contamination events that are set inside a Dark Zone underground location. More Exotic weapons and landmarks are also included. Additionally, the update adds Dark Zone leaderboard and an ultra-difficult Legendary mode that is aimed at "top players."

Last Stand is included with The Division's $40 DLC pass; if standalone pricing follows from the two previous add-ons, you can expect to pay $15 for it a la carte.

Additionally, Ubisoft will launch a free trial version of The Division tomorrow for all systems. This is the full version of the game, but it caps players at level eight and is only playable for six hours. All progress from the trial edition will move to the full game if players decide to buy it.

In other news about The Division, Ubisoft recently talked about how the movie based on the franchise starring Jessica Chastain and Jake Gyllenhaal is "well on the way."
