Steam Store Launches New Hardware Section

You can now find the Steam Controller, Steam Link, and Steam Machines on Valve's store.

The Steam store, having already expanded to offer non-gaming software alongside its games, now has a section devoted to hardware.

Currently, the area has pages devoted to the Steam Controller, Steam Link, and a variety of Steam Machines. These include offerings from Alienware, Asus, and other manufacturers, with each page listing the company's different Steam Machine models and select prices prices, which range from $460 to a crazy $5000.

Orders cannot yet be placed for any of these items.

The final version of the Steam Controller was unveiled at GDC this week, as was Steam Link, which will allow for computer games to be streamed across a local network. Both devices are set for release in November for $50 each. November is also the release window listed for all of the Steam Machines on Steam.
