Star Wars 7 List of Voice Actors Reveals Well-Known Names [SPOILERS]

Who Said What When?

The Star Wars movies have always relied on considerable voiceover work, given so much of that universe consists of aliens, droids, and masked Stormtroopers. Now the full list of voice actors for The Force Awakens has been released, revealing some well-known names among them.

The list can be viewed at Starwars.com, and it provides full details of exactly what lines were said by whom and in which scenes. The most famous name on the list is Clerks director Kevin Smith, who can be heard as a Stormtrooper during the attack on Maz Kanata’s castle, yelling "We have incoming at 28.6! Move!"

Elsewhere, Radiohead's longtime producer Nigel Godrich got to shout a single word--"Hey!"--shortly before getting blasted by Chewbacca on Starkiller Base.

The majority of the other voices were provided by Lucasfilm's production crew, including sound designer David Acord, who yells the now-famous line "Traitor!".

The site also hints that there may have been some other notable appearances, stating "There are also a couple of actor cameos in there that shall remain nameless (for now)." In December it was reported that Daniel Craig plays a Stormtrooper in a key scene, while JJ Abrams has confirmed that Ewan McGregor returned to the franchise to provide the voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi during Rey's Force vision.

Finally, one line of dialogue that the list reveals is particularly fascinating. When BB-8 rolls away during the village attack sequence near the film's beginning, a "Red Eyed Sand Alien" delivers the line "Koijima!" A homage to Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima perhaps? We may never know.
