Re-Watch the Amazing Doom Musical Performance From The Game Awards
Mick Gordon performs Doom's music live and it rocks.
One of the standout moments from last night's Game Awards was Mick Gordon's live performance of some of the music from id Software's Doom. You can now re-watch his high-energy performance of "Rip & Tear" through the YouTube embed below. Trust us, it rocks. Take a look:
In September, Bethesda released Doom's soundtrack for sale and streaming. It's available on both iTunes ($10) and Google Play ($9.49), or it can be streamed through Spotify.
The soundtrack was one of the aspects of Doom praised in GameSpot's review. Doom took home the Best Music/Sound Design award last night at The Game Awards, beating out Battlefield 1, Rez Infinite, Inside, and Thumper for the honor. Doom also won Best Action Game.
Whoa. DOOM music live is pretty intense. Aaron Bleyaert from Conan just said to me “weirdest Taylor Swift cover I’ve ever heard.”

Again, Doom's soundtrack is very good. You can stream it right here through the Spotify embed below.
Gordon also wrote the music for other Bethesda games like Prey, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and Mirror's Edge Catalyst.
