Player Defeats Hardest Bloodborne Boss While Unarmed

It's like Rocky, but instead of Mr. T, it's a horrifying monster.

If you think Bloodborne is hard, wait until you play it unarmed. Popular Dark Souls streamer Lobos Jr. is known for putting himself up to seemingly insurmountable challenges in From Software's masochistic RPGs. His latest is beating one of Bloodborne's hardest bosses with nothing but his bare hands. Well, his character's bare hands.

Lobos attempted to beat Ludwig the Accursed in fisticuffs at the hardest possible difficulty (New Game + 7). He tried for 12 hours before trouncing the beast in a 38-minute fight. And he's continuing onward with his unarmed escapades on Twitch.

Lobos' previous exploits include him beating Dark Souls with nothing but dragon punches, completing a "No Death or Bonfire" run in Dark Souls II, and playing through the original game upside down.

Ludwig the Accursed can be found in Bloodborne's DLC expansion The Old Hunters, which was scored a 9 in GameSpot's review. If you want to take on the monster with weapons in tow, you can find out how to get the DLC's new weapons here. And if weapons aren't enough, you can let out your wild side and turn into a beast instead. Everything you need to know about Bloodborne: The Old Hunters can be found right here on GameSpot.
