New Witcher 3 Patch Coming ASAP to Address "All Major Issues"

Fixes inbound.

CD Projekt Red is preparing a new patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to address "all major reported issues," community manager Marcin Momot said on Twitter today.

Momot did not provide any further details on the specific issues that the patch will fix, but in a separate tweet, he confirmed it will address a problem where the camera fails to lock onto enemies. Additionally, people are reporting in The Witcher 3's forums a number of problems, including freezing and missions failing to load. However, it's unclear if the patch will address these problems.

The Witcher 3's latest big patch came out last week, right before the game's Blood and Wine expansion arrived on May 31. This patch fixed a problem where Geralt would fail to put his clothes back on after having sex, and a number of other problems not involving sex.

Blood and Wine, a substantial expansion that offers over 90 new quests and around 30 hours of gameplay, is the final add-on for The Witcher 3. You may not have to wait much longer to hear about what's coming next from CD Projekt Red, however, as the developer recently teased that it may show a new game at E3 this month.

GameSpot's Blood and Wine review scored it an 8/10.

"Perhaps we will join him in yet another adventure, but if Blood and Wine is the White Wolf's final interactive appearance, he at least departs in style," reviewer Kevin VanOrd said. "I'll miss you, Geralt--your impossibly perfect hair, your mercenary disposition, your stoic approach to horrific crimes and unspeakable tragedies. If you and Roach must ride into the sunset, then I'm glad the time we spent together was so enthralling."
