Sony today released the announcement trailer for The Last of Us Remastered, an updated version of Naughty Dog's 2013 action game that the company officially unveiled yesterday.
The trailer mostly focuses on the fact that The Last of Us for PlayStation 3 took home more than 200 Game of the Year awards, but there is a brief snippet of footage from the game showing protagonists Joel and Ellie overlooking a group of wandering giraffes.
The Last of Us Remastered runs in 1080p and Naughty Dog is aiming for 60fps. The new version of the game is being handled internally at Naughty Dog; it was not shipped out to another outfit.
In addition to updated visuals and DLC, The Last of Us Remastered features director's commentary from Neil Druckmann, as well as input from voice actors Troy Baker (Joel) and Ashley Johnson (Ellie). The Last of Us Remastered launches this summer and retailers say it's going to cost $60.
