GTA 5's Online Mode Adds New Cars and Maps; Lots of Items Discounted

Grand Theft Auto V's multiplayer mode continues to grow and evolve. Rockstar Games today announced and launched the next update for GTA Online, introducing things like a new car and more maps for the Power Play mode, while a big sale is also starting now.

The new car is the Dewbauchee Seven-70, which now be purchased in-game from Legendary Motorsport. Here is what the supercar looks like:

Another part of today's GTA Online update is the arrival of three more maps for Power Play: Los Santos International Airport, the Port of Los Santos, and the banks of the Alamo Sea. Rockstar is encouraging players to try these by offering double RP and GTA$ on these maps now until July 8.

Closer to the upcoming weekend, GTA Online will offer double RP and GTA$ in a new Power Play playlist that features the maps Aircraft Carrier and Bolingbroke Prison. Additionally, the playlist will feature the Redwood Lights Tack for the Trading Places game type.

In terms of sales, GTA Online is currently offering these deals through July 11:

• 20 percent off all Offices and Office Interiors
• 15 percent off all Warehouse Workbench upgrades
• 50 percent of the Savage military helicopter
• 25 percent of garage properties
• 25 percent off all Independence Day content

Similar to other recent GTA Online updates, it appears this one is also only for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game.
