Here's How GTA 5 Is Celebrating 4th of July and More

With the 4th of July holiday weekend approaching, Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto V will celebrate the American holiday with some special offerings.

From July 1-4, GTA Online will offer double GTA$ and RP in a weekend playlist featuring the Road Tripping, Across the Wilderness, and Tour the Lake multiplayer modes.

Additionally, all of the Independence Day Special content from GTA Online's previous 4th of July events is returning. This includes the Liberator monster truck, Sovereign motorcycle, Firework Rocket Launcher (and ammo), and patriotic gear such as hats and t-shirts.

For a closer look at these, click through the images in the gallery above. These items will be available until Monday, July 11, and everything is marked down 25 percent.

In addition to the 4th of July content and events, Rockstar this week released a new supercar for GTA Online, the Pfister 811. You can buy it right now in-game at Legendary Motorsport.

To celebrate, Rockstar is offering a variety of GTA Online bonuses, one of which is double GTA$ and RP in a street racing playlist.

Additionally, you can save 40 percent on the Turreted Limo and Karin Technical armored cars, while all masks are marked down by 40 percent as well. What's more, the Bull Shark Testosterone supplement, which provides extra strength to players, is available for 50 percent off.

Similar to other recent GTA Online updates, it appears this one is also only for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game.
