GREAT co-op game!

Don't let the gamespot review sway you - this is a GREAT Co-op game.

Here are the two problems I had w/ the gamespot review:

1) The reviewer must have been in the army (or had relatives in the army) to be so offended by the subject matter. It's a game - review the game, ok, and not your personal politics.

2) The reviewer said some enemies needed more shots to kill the the terminator. Well, they make it very clear in the beginning that a few enemies must be taken down from behind (which is then easy). That's to, you know, enhance the whole co-op thing.

Ok, that said, this is an excellent game if you are into co-op. I played all weekend split screen w/ a friend, and we had a blast. The difficulty is perfect, the story is good enough, the levels are fine, and the "need" for co-op type play just makes this a joy.

For example, like I mentioned earlier, some enemies you must attack from behind. Which is hard (if not impossible) to do without working as a team. Like in "you go there, draw his fire, and I'll sneak around back". VERY fun when you pull it off.

The game uses cover quite a bit, and it's very well done. Better than most actually, because you don't really "stick" to cover, which makes it much easier to maneuver. The weapons are fun - you earn money, and can buy weapons (and then upgrade them). I found the weapons plenty powerful (especially once you added a shotgun secondary mode!)

This game was clearly made for two people to play together. If you like co-op, grab it.
