Certainly better than the first but the checkpoint system will leave you crying....

Very fun game especially when you play it in co-op mode. It's smooth and the controls are pretty simple to remember. The weapon customization is a great feature that adds a lot to the game.

However, this game has one major bad hurdle, as far as re-playability is concerned, and that is the inconsistent checkpoint system. On one hand you can play 5 minutes and a checkpoint will appear. Then sometimes you have to play a good 20-30 minutes before another appears. This issue can be frustrating because if you and your teammate is killed, you will need to start back from the last checkpoint 20 minutes before. Hence any hostage savings or weapon customization you had done during that time, you will have to do again. It's very frustrating and wants to make you throw the controller out the window. It's too bad because if this issue was balanced, this would be a near perfect game.

A rental at best.....
