One of the most original games I've ever played.

This is hands down one of the best PS games ever released. I remember getting this as a present back then and I didn't think much of it. That was until I played it and Ape Escape just wowed me. It's innovative in it's own way and the first game to fully utilized the Dual Shock controller. The control it's pretty nifty as well. Basically in Ape Escape , you have to go around and capture monkeys with your net. Now it may seem ridiculious at first but it's actually pretty fun ^_^ , you'll find new ways to capture monkeys.

As you play along , you will come across with more gadgets like an R/C car , sling shot , hover rooter, and more. Which will all be used at one point in the game. Like using a slingshot to shoot switchs , the r/c car to get to places you can't reach , the stun club to stun monkeys and more. You get the idea man . But all you really need to know that it's effing fun !

In terms of graphics and sound , theres nothing to really complain about. It rarely happens but sometimes the frame rate can get a tad bit choppy. Don't worry about that though because like I said : It rarely happens. The sounds and music are really well played here. I enjoyed Ape Escape's soundtrack.

It's not just only collecting monkeys you know? You can alot various mini games when you collect a certian amount of "Specter" coins that are hidden in every level. It's pretty hilarious mini games like "Monkey Boxing" and more.

At the end result , Ape Escape is a must own and definitely a must buy.

So if you don't own it ...

I'm sorry but get off your butt and buy this game! >_>!
