This games feel is unexplainable!
GAMEPLAY ~
It's a side-scroller The stage continuously moves and the monsters generate during certain parts. Here is a breakdown of the games actual actions! You kick, you punch, you kneel and kick up! You transform three times, each time loosing more clothes than previous, become a beast, and easily beat the stage boss... This is the extent of the gameplay. It wasn't too revolutionary, even for it's time, but it's simplistic nature makes it more fun to get friends involved.
STORY ~
RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!!! That is about all I remember!
GRAPHICS ~
Ehh... again, nothing special... didn't like the fact he lost his clothes as the steroid balls "power" you up and than that great cut-scene where you transform into "beast" mode and than the game gets easy. Again, the graphics are good, but do not stand the test of time...
SOUND ~
The music is actually really great! each stage has a different music, but the music where you transform into a beast is the most exciting part! It makes me smile every time I turn into wolf during the first stage. Lets not forget that opening voice which advises you to "rise from your grave" is LEGENDARY! And the villains one-liner of "Welcome to your doom" is what good gaming is all about! The FX are a bit boring thought, with watery smacks and sloppy monster noises, but the music completely makes up for it!
REPLAYABILITY ~
This game is so easy to just pick up and play. You will find yourself turning this game on, playing through the first two levels and than quitting. But you will do this SEVERAL times. It's just fun to play over and over again!
OVERALL ~
Quite a fun game for those looking to waste some minutes playing this game on a ROM or re-acquainting yourself with the Genesis.
But it really only hold attention for a few minutes till you get bored, so play in moderation and you will enjoy this title!
