Alien Trilogy

An interesting attempt at an Aliens game, but a poor one nonetheless.

“Alien Trilogy” seemed to be more of an attempt at a horror game, à la “Resident Evil” than a first-person shooter.

Unlike the other Alien games out there, “Alien Trilogy” suffered a distinct lack of ammunition, and mind-boggling repetitive gameplay. The first three Alien movies were playable in order, but there was so little difference in how each was presented, “Alien Trilogy” seemed to me to be one long series of aliens assaulting the player from all sides in poorly lit hallways (in order to see, the player had to find batteries for the shoulder-mounted flashlight).

  Alien Trilogy may be a very old game, but anybody looking to relive the good old days of gaming should check this out.

  Alien Trilogy has something really spooky and attention grabbing about it. It follows an old formula with success.
