I really wanted to like this game, but it is just tedious and annoying. You only have fun for a little while and then the scares and tension go away. Too much time wasted hiding in lockers waiting for the alien to go away only to have to deal with it again shortly after. Dealing with the android "Working Joes" is not any better. At least you get to clobber them over the head. The tedious fetch quests and backtracking certainly don't help the game. Overall poor pacing and uninspired design. I stopped playing after a while and just watched a story play-through video on YouTube. What a waste. Don't even bother with this game. The atmosphere and tension in the beginning are good, but then it just becomes a chore.
If you like good sci-fi horror games, play the Dead Space games. You can buy the whole trilogy for less than the price of this game. The Dead Space games are far superior to this garbage.
