Great graphics, fun gameplay, beautiful art, and good level design makes for a great package.
Sound: Sets the mood for each level/cutscene perfectly. Mostly classical music with a few whimsical tunes in between, then changing to a dark, brooding theme when the situation changes.
Gameplay: The jumps are a little floaty at times, which can leave some gamers frustrated. However, those moments are overshadowed by the fun gameplay and simple control scheme. Not to mention that Alice's "Berserk" attack is insane, and very satisfying.
With the game's length being anywhere from 12-15 hours, and the fact that it comes with the first Alice game, this makes for great value. It can get a little repetitive, but it's fun and that's all gamers want in the end. It's nowhere near perfect (it has its flaws), but it's nowhere near as average as some of the reviews seem to indicate.
