Alice Madness Returns is definitely a good game,although lack of bosses may lead to tedium
The combats are fluid and changing weapons efficiently during combats requires time to master.Each monsters need different strategies to defeat.
Exploration is good.In Alice Madness Returns,there are a lot of collectables such as bottles,memories and paints.There are truly a bundle of hidden places that are waiting for you to discover them.However,the items you have collected will re spawn during your second gameplay.This will make things confusing as you dont know which item you have collected,which item you have not.
The graphics are truly beautiful.The minigames in the game is kinda fun,except for the puzzle of tiles moving(which i hated most).In certain chapters,being chase by monsters that will one hit k.o. you will be fun and will make you nervous.I like that part myself.
It is really not a horror game(the kind that ghost jumped out suddenly and make you scream) but it is kinda irritating during the blood scenes that may spook you out.
There are four difficulties ,easy, normal hard and nightmare.The nightmare is indeed challenging(for me).The good thing is,when you aim for trophies,playing the nightmare mode and finishing it will help you to unlock trophies on the three more easy difficulties.This will help you to obtain trophies more easily and there is no need to play four difficulties to obtain the trophies.
