God i love being a PC gamer
Playing this game brings a tear to my eye (not really) but it is so so breathtaking, immersive, and just so unique that it really deserves much praise from me as a graphic enthusiast. Its just really nice to see that there are people on this planet capable of coming together to create this unique masterpiece of software. It is becoming more and more rare these days to come across a game where you feel as though the developers absolutely LOVE what they are creating, rather than many games these days where things feel forced just to get a finished product out the door. I honestly feel the warmth of the developers love for creation every inch of the way. The flow of this game is just a seamless masterpiece, everything is just so wonderful even the combat is smooth. They could have made this game 4 hours long just like all the other games but this eperience is 9-10 hours, that just goes to show how much the people who made this game cared about it. This game should be in a museum! I could not think of anything more surreal than alice's wonderland and this team of developers absolutely nailed it as far as the splash of bizzare that is required to create the ultimate, gorgeous, yet mature atmosphere of this game.
I don't really know who gamespot think they are, some sort of hipster gods who think that their opinion is the the correct one and that the game deserves no more than a 7 just because they have no appreciation for the arts, but playing through this game everything is there.. There is not one shortcoming, it offers the content of two $60 titles, not a single development bug/ not a single performance hitch, a story 1000X more developed than the common game. a 7.0 is for a game that is flawed, where is the flaws? I am the kind of gamer that can NEVER complete a game because they bore me but this game has something about it where no two areas of the game feel the same. because they are'nt.. And gamespot had the nerve to say something about the level layout? Dude this game has the hands down best level layout system of any game i have played in 12 years of gaming.. For christ sake you have to play a few hours of this game and i guarantee you have never seen a more unique method of progression through the campaign as far as level layout.. I am no longer taking gamespot's reviews seriously it is just depressing to click on a game like this and just see the number 7 as bright as the sun as if gamespots opinion is what the game is.. period.
