I've just finished the game, it is amazing, recommend everybody to play it, even though I don't usually play this kinda of games, but I liked this one; because of the amazing story.

Love this game, one of the better games to come out in a long time, too bad it was overshadowed by Red Dead Redemption.
I am glad this game does not use the "boo" scare techniques I've grown sick of. No cheap scares here just an awesome story.
1 Like oh, i've been playing it the past 2 days. one of the best games i've played in a long time can barely put it down. i think how nerve wracking the enemies are and how weak you are is an awesome substitute for scariness. would be awesome if future RE & Dead Space games borrow some stuff from this lol
@Kickable This game will not scare you, it's about as scary as Bioshock... though both have amazing story :D For anyone who hasn't played this, I highly recommend it! Once you finish it, it will leave a lasting impression on you =) Truly an excellent game.
been waiting for a game that actually scares me ever since Siren(that game had some major flaws otherwise), Dead Space came close. this looks very similar to Siren
the main character lokes like Joe from Resistance 3. to bad this game is not on Ps3, but Dead Space will do the job

Damn, i forgot how good this game was! Already beat it on the hardest diff but it seems i´ll play it again, before Skyrim comes out.
After playin resident evil 5 i'm not really sure if I need this in my gaming colletion. Does look tense at times
This is one hell of a game which seemed too sneak under the radar for a lot of people. I got the special box set the day it came out and i cant part with it, its in a league of its own. nightmare mode here i come......
brilliant game, though I do think it would have been scarier if it didnt allert you enemies were coming at you by showing slowing the game down and zooming on the enemy

When he says "safe and predictable" at 4:42, he is referring to the fact that the surprising events in the game that are meant to scare the player don't feel threatening and are not memorable. When he says "The flashlight isn't even enough to make you feel safe" at 5:08, he is referring to the creepy atmosphere, and "its difficult to predict", he is referring to the game's plot.
at 442 he says, "The game is to safe and predictable." Then at 508 he says, "The flashlight isnt even enough to make you feel safe from the evils around you." and at 547 he says, "the story is filled with enough twists that its difficult to predict." I feel terribly sorry for anyone who paid for this wretched garbage heap.
This game is absolutely garbage. It is about as fun as sitting in a church with no water. The combat is lame- the story completely blows. this reviewer is into homo flashlight combat and wishes he played a game less abysmal than this trash. Nasty game - three thumbs down
looks really good, and the graphics and lighting effect are awesome, it would be nice to see how this would look on a HDTV (unfortunately i dont have one :( )
