Gamespot fail at reviews.
The truth is i was worried in the begining of the new dog fight mode but it does grow on you and true I would have loved if it was an option, still its fun to use when u get the hang of it.
I personally base my review on 4 factors from top to bottom.
1) gameplay ( most important factor) fun as hell. 2 of 3
2) graphics ..... Excellent 3 out of 3
3) story...... 2 out of 2
4) x factor ( game life) in other words keeping the game alive.... Updates, online, vs, additions...ext. for now since the game is new 1 out of 2.
Ace combat is reviewed by many whom are not really fans of the series and shouldnt be taken seriously by those who are, cause maybe they arent really fans of the genre but liked the trailer and wanted to try it or just really appreciate namco.
Bottom line Fans of the series dont think twice! This is your game. Although ace combat 5 followed by 6 are much more tastefull for me.
