Edgeworth first solo game will be craved in my mind as one of the most original games on the most original game series

User Rating: 10 | Gyakuten Kenji DS
I love the Ace Attorney series, and since i saw that Edgeworth, whose my favourite character of the series, was going to start a game, i freaked out. Now i've played and i am really impressed with what Capcom can do if they really take the project seriously.

GRAPHICS:
The artwortk for the characters who apeared in previous games are pretty much the same, but they and all the new ones have more details and polish. The backgrounds are very well made and well detailed too.5/5

SOUND:
Like the previous instailments of the series, the music is incredible, though i think is more unmemorable compared to the other games.4.5/5

GAMEPLAY AND CONTROL:
The game is a point and click adventure game. In the game, you play as Edgeworth, the prosecutor from the first game and recuring character from the series, investigating the crime scene. The major difference from the other games is that you don't play on the court, but the cross-examination is still there, as "Rebuttals", which are the same. On them, you question the witness and find flaws on their logics. One major increase of the game is called "Logic", where you have to match 2 pieces of information to create new one. The story is fantastic and will really keep you hooked up, and the new characters are great too, such as Kay, which is kinda like Maya and Trucy from the previous games, though only in 2 of them. In the others, your "Maya" is Detective Gumshoe. Honestly, i think i preffer Kay better than Maya. The controls are differenct from the previous instailments, because it is in thrid person, so to move, you have to use either the d-pad or the touch screen, and the 2 ways work very well. 5/5

OVERALL:
This is another stellar instailment in this stellar franchise. Ace Attorney fans should really give it a try, and gamers who aren't big fans of the series should at least try this one out.
