Classic Zombie-A-Go-Go...

User Rating: 8.6 | Zombies Ate My Neighbors SNES
Man this brings back memories. Memories of childhood summers spent trying to save cheerleaders & archaeologists from bloodthirsty zombies, martians, & over-grown weeds.

This game was very ambitious for it's time. Packed with an insane amount of levels (which just got harder & harder), a crazy variety of weapons (which got crazier & crazier), & a cornucopia of ghouls, zombies, killer dolls (you know, like Chucky), vampires, space fiends, chainsaw wielding madmen (complete with hockeymasks!), sand worms...the list goes on.

One of my favorite things about Zombies Ate My Neighbors was the multiplayer co-op. You & a friend could try making it to the end of the game (a very time consuming & challenging feat) together.

Overall, for it's time this game is really something special. They presented this total package for horror fans with good music, humor, & overall variety. If you've still got your snes the next time you're in your local game shop take a look & see if they have this one...at the very least I can guarantee you'll laugh at the level names.
