Yu-gi-oh! Worldwide Edition:Stairway to the Destined Duel(or Yugoh wwe foor short)is based on the popular manga series Yu-gi-oh! which is about a boy named Yugi that has an ancient relic (or mellenium relics) that contains an ancient pharoh and is unlocked each time in a card game called duel monsters or if called for.The pharoh named Yami is destined to save the world by winning a tournament of duel monsters (which is a bit pathetic) and in this game you play a newbie that enters the competition and eventually wins it and you have to defeat all sorts of opponents such as Joey,Seto Kaiba,Yugi,Yami and the villian Marik.

In the game you must aquire the ultimate deck by defeating opponents from the TV show and then battle ultimate evil and defeat Marik and his mind slaves.In the card game there are 6 types of cards (magic,trap,monster,effect monster,ritual monster and fusion monster)but the 3 basic type of cards being magic,trap and monster and if you want a perfect deck you'll have to equally ballance your deck with all 3 types and to make it even harder there are sacrifice monsters that have to(as the name suggests)sacrifice other monsters with 4 stars of less of if the sacrifce moster has over 6 stars 2 monsters are needed for it to be summoned.
