Yugioh for the PS2, is another game that doesnt play like the card game but it is a great new way to play.

In the game your cards are actual pieces, almost like your traditional chess pieces. You move across a board and you win once you either destroy the main piece *king* or all of the monsters on the field. The game only allows you to use a few of your monsters and you cannot choose to enter or withdraw them during battle, you make your pic on which monsters youll take into battle so you have to really think about what your taking in. Just cuz blue eyes white dragon is strong and can kick ass doesnt mean it cant be defeated by a larger number of enemies. You have to choose your cards or pieces rigth or youll get wiped out. The characters from 4 kids tv show are the voice actors in this game and the story is really good. The graphics arent all that great but it is fun. You can fuse but you never really need to, a good planned out strategies and a few good monsters and youre set. This game is good and once yo beat it youll play it every now and then to kill time or if you really get in to it youll play it to improve on your strategies. The game difficulty rises as you climb the hill so you have to improve as you go. The fact that stages have elemental power ups and that even the field also goes trough changes during the battle adds even more to your strategy. Sometimes you can use the changes to your advantage but if your not careful youll get caught in them too. The AI is good and its not dumb it will destroy you and place you in a tigth spot if your not careful so you do have to keep your eyes open and try to understand what the AI is planning. This is a great game and highly recomended for even people who dont like yugioh. See YA!!
