LOVE IT! Get a beat-em-up and rpg style together, put in the japanese world including the awesome yakuza and YES YES YES
Yakuza is a game that runs in the deep city of Tokyo where the **** happens and the Yakuza gang is always around so the envirioment of the game is totaly japanese... you actually see a little of japan in the game you know.. the REAL japan. You take control of a very nice guy who is a yakuza wich is very weird because the man is just too nice but i guess it makes sense when you progress and the story goes on. There is no mistery on him but on wtf is going on the mistery is all around. That means you (or Kazuma as everyone calls him) are always going to be in trouble even if you just wanna walk around the city checking out the stores and the **** trouble will follow you... but it makes sense... because...well you will see in the beggining of the game... besides the game tells us one message that we ALL have to remenber when we go to japan... "never EVER dress like a yakuza or you will get threated 24h" LOL!
Okay enough now for the tecnical stuff like the gameplay right? yeah its awesome ... when you fight someone first it loads as if it was an rpg so the scenario is the same as the **** who troubled you but some people in the street are cheering and you can only hit the guys you are fighting with. Also you can use varios atacks and varios combos in wich a bar will increase and if it goes on you become stronger and can do special moves wich gives you more experience... with the experience you can level up 3 skills and learn even more moves, more combos, more special moves and so on... so the gameplay starts off great and as you progress it gets even better! Also you can use any weapon what so ever.. like a table or a bottle of beer or a sword or a gun. Some of these weapons you can guard em on your items and equip em off or on anytime... but some weapons you can only grab em and use em on the fight your on... weapons like table, bottle, chairs... you know these kind of stuff... but the "real" weapons you can just keep em... but they all have a limit .. like a sword has a limit of 20 strikes .. oh yeah.. you can also perform speacial moves with any weapon.. its freaking awesome!
Graphics. beautiful ...the town of tokyo is so well done you can really feel the envirioment and the gameplay is well done ..i was really satisfied .. also sometimes comes a 3D time... their actualy everytime you progress to another chapter (i am currently at chapter 10).
Sound. loved it... the language of the characters are well done and the sound of the japanese envirioment is truly amazing.. people talking japanese... the stores... and when a fight is gonna begin a guitar plays varios songs so you can really feel the urge to beat some punks.. i really liked the sound in this game!
Well i guess i said enough of the game... so if you like an action game and wanna try something wild with great beat-em-up, awesome story, and japanese touch you should have this game already! AT LEAST RENT IT!
