Yakuza is a really good fighting game, and the story is alone worth the purchase of this game! :)
I can't really say what the the game is about because I might give away twists without knowing it, and the twists are shocking.

Kazuma is one of the coolest videogame characters ever, please trust me. Just play the game and you will see!
The fighting is like old skool beat em ups, but you can use weapons lying around the scenery, and sometimes theres 8 people trying to kill you! But with the excellent upgrade system you can sometimes take on 8 people at once and not even get hit once!!! Thats how tough he is!
There are lots and lots of moves Kazuma can pull off, and each one of them is really awesome looking and very brutal.
The control in battle is like old skool, you have the lock on, and the strong punch, weak punch, throw, pick up weapon. . . . .ect but this time you have a "heat" mode which makes your attacks stronger.
Theres plenty of side missions and mini games too, like gambling, fighting punks who bother citizans, other yakuza, handbag theives, and all that jazz :).
But the plot is what instantly grabs you in, because the voice acting is superb, and the way the cut scenes are set out is just like a movie. It's amazing and totally an experience I reccomend to people who just want to be sucked into a captivating story of blood, honour, betrayal, death and....stuff.
There are some bad points though, but nowhere near enough to spoil the game.

Sometimes boss battles can get a bit hectic and if you havent bought enough health beforeheand, you could end up . . . .beaten to a pulp!
The music gets a little bit samey in battles, but its pretty catcy none of the less!
The city is really big and sometimes you can get lost! But that means you backtrack a few times.
Overall: Yakuza is an amazing experience, and bascally everything about it is a top notch movie-like experience! You won't be dissapointed!
