A classic beat 'em up style, X-MEN Origins: Wolverine fails to have any compelling story, and loses steam early on.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine started out as one of the best Wolvie featuring games i've played to date. It's raw, it's brutal, and it's God of War gameplay style made it fun and easy to kick some baddie butt. But only a couple of short hours in, the same repetitive moves, lack of any interesting story work, and repetitive, uninteresting levels brought nothing more than a sense of redundancy. All levels are extremely linear and usually involve simply reaching a certain checkpoint while encountering a few bad guys along the way. Towards what i assume to be the end of the game a huge bug during a boss battle made the game impossible to complete. I restarted from earlier saves to no avail. The same bug kept creating the same issue. I'm glad i bought this game from a pawn shop for $10, as to me, with no chance to even finish it, it's not even worth that much...
