What the movie should have been!
The game was excellent with high production values, good voice acting they even got Hugh Jackman to do the voice. It basically is a slasher, with light and heavy attack but with the ability to lunge at enemies and use the environment against them the game will not get boring. The boss fights feel epic especially with Sabretooth.. There are also light acrobatics here Prince of Persia style. What adds to the game more are a lot of cinematic moments.
But the best thing about this game is the sheer brutality which the movie was lacking. Blood will spill, you can decapitate people and finish em off in really cool ways. I was pleasantly surprised about this because i thought the game would keep the rating of the movie which is Teen.
I didn't like the movie it was stupid, with bad witting and potholes, the game follows the same story, but at least they left out the cheesy parts. You don't even have to like the movie to appreciate the game.
The PC port was good, nothing was lacking, i am sure it was equally good as the console versions. I recommend this game to anyone who like's X men, or enjoys playing good old slashers. This is what a movie tie in's should be like!
