Doesn't suck, doesn't rock....

I got the game yesterday on my psp just to check whether or not this was another simplified hand-me-down version of the original title for the other platforms or not. Some ways it is, some ways it is not. First things first. The gameplay is nothing special with the exception of leap attacks that lets you mount(?) your opponents from a certain distance. The level desing is "enter an area, slice'em all, go on to the next area" kinda repetetive. And since this version doesn't have the fancy visuals of the ps3 or xbox360 version, there seems to be less than a few reasons to root for this one. But when the production values are mentioned...the introduction and the cutscenes are plain awesome, music is pretty cool and the extras are enough to stimulate the inner beast.
Wolverine is a unique character allright but to carbon copy God of War to obtain a top seller is lame. The gameplay could have been varied some other ways than to be a dumbed down to kill'em all hack-fest. If you can remember the first time you've played Force Unleashed on psp then you get what I mean... This could have been so much better. Not that I'm dissapointed with it, but I have done all of this before and I was actually optimistic about this one to be something unique...
