That's right! there is a little substance in this game. There are stories and character combinations and title matches that mean something. No Mercy comes together to provide wrestling to the masses with a little bit of the male drama that takes place in the actual sport, giving it a little more of the true to life feeling.

As far as the game goes, the characters are all real people in the "sport" and each have their own set of moves and special moves. With the Rock, you can use the People's Elbow, and you can use the Angle Slam with Kurt Angle. It is nice to see some more individuality compared to the past games.

There is also an option to customize your own character with costumes and moves and taunts. The taunts are definitely important to get your fan bar to the max and get to use your special moves.

Like I said, there is some substance. The story mode allows you to enjoy a progression of matches with some interactions before and in between each fight. They are fairly standard stories and you will get only a specific combination of scenarios, but it is better than none.

This game provides a lot more than the average wrestling game and is worth your time if you are into the genre.
