The last great Wrestling game remains with N64

User Rating: 9.3 | WWF No Mercy N64
Playstation had the Smackdown series, Xbox had the Raw series, and even Gamecube tried to replicate greatness with Day of Reckoning, but none of them could even come close to the badassness of Nintendo 64's WWF No Mercy!! Coming off the heals of the excellent Wrestlemania 2000, THQ and Jakks, Inc came together to create the single greatest wrestling game of all time. This game boasts a complete roster, including the characters that were inactive at the time. It has an awesome create-a-player in which you can create pretty much the baddest mofo the squared circle has ever seen! It has one bug in it, which is pretty major, but, when you go through the championship mode and earn the belts, at some point everything you have done will be reset, including any created players you have made!!! I actually went through the process of recreating everything more than once. But I would not have done all that had this game not been the masterpiece that it is. My buddies and I have become gods at this game and enjoy punishing the computer until they are bleeding. We never pin anyone, its always a submission, or we compete for the World Title in an hour long Ironman match. Man that gets heated once you have your opponent able to submit from both the head and the legs. This game plain out owns and if you are a wrestling fan and own a N64, do yourself a favor and pick this game up. You will thank me for it!
