WWE Smackdown vs Raw is another line of a series of wrestling games. The game has the story mode, online and quick match system to explore in this game. You can also create your own character and determine the details on looks, moves and even entrances.
The gameplay is really solid, like it has been earlier in the series. New moves and overall grappling system is in this game. Making it easier to get control over the match. The game gives you freedom to try to exploring a weakness in the opponent and exploiting it to your advantage. Giving the game more of a tactical approach than perhaps the earlier games did. It's more convenient to try to make your opponent tap out or focus on a body part and get the pinfall.
The story gets the job done in this game. But hasn't got a bigger role like in the earlier game in the series. Where the story was the biggest part of the game. They still do a good job, but it is too short to get the fullfilment to earlier games in the series.
The graphics look really good for this game. The wrestlers look as good as ever in this game. It's clear they have spent a lot of time trying to perfect the look of all the wrestlers in this game. The crowd still looks a little like an after thought, but you still get a great atmosphere.
The only voice acting that really stands out in this game is the commentary. It is really good, but the cutscenes in the story could have been done better. The crowd still does a lot to give a great atmosphere combined with the commentary.
You can get a lot of out of the game if you really explore all of the modes in the game. But it does lack modes like other games made it worth playing for a longer time. Like the manager mode or a bigger campaign.

It's a good game if you are a fan of the series and does a lot of things right. But don't expect any big changes compared to the earlier games in the series.
