It's a good wrestling game, but there are some flaws here and there.

User Rating: 7.6 | WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2006 PS2
Pros:
+Great CAW
+Stamina meter actually makes you think ahead
+From the point it was made, good selection of wrestlers
+More than 2 gamers make for all night fun.
+You can finally choose who you want as champion!
+General Manager mode is a great concept

Cons:
-If it's one-on-one vs 1 other gamer, it becomes a battle of reverses
-General Manager mode seems like beta testing
-Why 3 Hulk Hogans?
-AI at the Legend setting seems impossible at times
-Season mode is still laughable at best

This game got it all, General Manager Mode, Season Mode, Create-a-Wrestler, Create-a-PPV, Create-a-Stable, nearly anything you can think of wrestling-wise The create-a-wrestler mode is more in-depth this year. You can create literally hundreds of caws and each one would be unique in its own way; you have to option of creating different facial expressions, different body types, and you can even choose the color of the caw, no more black/white/lightskinned. You can still add different moves to your caw, and even current wrestlers (Carlito, for example, he pulls out a new move it seem like every week). The roster is meaty as well, from the point it was created, it has an excellent selection to choose from. You can choose Triple H all the way to Spike Dudley and Snitsky. I'm kind of disappointed with the Create-a-PPV this year. Last year, a cut secne of the main-event would actually show the 2 wrestlers duking it out. I was hoping that the designers would elaborate this year on that idea, but it seems that the cut secne has been done away with all together. Create-a-Stable is once again a fun way to put wrestler together for your own enjoyment. They even have NWO's and DX's entrances. DX entrance, however, includes Chyna's entrance as well, meaning that whoever the third person is, male or female, will have the mannerisms of a woman. The season mode has improved, this time around the story isn't the same for both brands. The story is still laughable, but I'll take what I can get.

What really bothers me is that in the cut secnes, Stone Cold's Stunner and Undertaker's chokeslam are poorly, poorly animated. General Manager Mode is new this year, and most people love GM mode. I find it entertaining, being able to choose your own wrestlers and create dream matches, but it seems, almost like beta testing. The mode isn't "meaty" enough, it could be a lot more in depth in my opinion. And I believe there could be better ways to please the fans and wrestlers. Even though the menu said fans dont' want to see the same match in the same spot every week, I noticed that RAW main event was the same for most of the time I played GM Mode, and it kept beating me in ratings. Three Hogans? Uncalled for. NWO Hogan, Yes. 80s Hogan, No. It's about time that you're allowed to pick your own Champions, I've been waiting since SmackDown Just Bring it. When it's more than 2 gamers, the game is a blast to play. But, when it's one-on-one, it's a battle of who can tap the L2 or R2 button fastest, it takes away from all the fun when all your moves are reversed, and vice-versa. SmackDown! vs RAW 2006 is a good wrestling game, any fan of wrestling should give this game a try. But, as a VGaming Enthusiast, this game could of been a lot better. Hopefully, SmackDown vs RAW 2007 will be near perfection.
