Overall its a great wrestling game

I picked up Day of Reckoning yesterday before work and was glued to the game as soon as i got home. The animation of the characters are much smoother than last years. They are not all jerky looking when they walk down to the ring. Brings back those memorys of N64 days. I notices really quick though that there were some people missing in the game. Where is JBL how can you not have the current champ in the game? Does Yukes have smething against him, and also the dudly boys and spike. There are a couple of divas missing from the game as well. I don't understand how they can just omit these characters from the game. Having Bret Heart and other classic wrestlers was a really nice touch.
The creat a wrestler is just as good as last years. Where you can make all the missing wrestlers such as Stone Cold and Hogan. They have pre-made move pallets for them and goldberg which will save some time in the creation of them.
For the story mode its deffinitly an improvment but still the biggest disapointment in the game due to its complete linare script. Its much better then going into a shopping mall to break up some stuff or swinging from chains in a parking lot. If they could have just given a few places where you could have actually picked who you wanted to wrestle against or feud with it would have made it much much better. If you played last years then you will like this one even with the couple of flaws like omited wrestlers and the straight story line its a great game. I know ill be spending plenty of time in the up comming weeks making characters. Good luck!
