as far as wrestling games go, this is the best for me
The game has alot of the characters you would want to see but the best part is creating your own. The creation mode is one of the best I have ever seen. Better than any of the madden games or anything like that. I'v made almost 10 different characters of all different themes and im just getting started.
The story mode is pretty good cause its not completely linier compared to other story modes in game like this. You get to choose to some extent the direction that your character takes. Also you aquire new characters, experience points and cash to spend in the WWE shop the farther you go. One down side is that you cant have multiple story modes going at one time which sucks when every character has to wait their turn to get in on the action.
However, the multiplayer is the best part of course. With all the different matches to choose from, You and your friends will keep coming back for more. Theres just somthing very satisfing about big booting your buddy clear off the steel cell.
What sets it apart from all other wrestling games is that alot of wrestling games really suck. Other games the controlles are difficult the countering system blows, The matches are boring and slow, The damage isnt realistic, The moves are very limited and the creation mode is pathetic! I bought a wrestling game for my gamecube a while back and that was the only game I have ever returned. I would have never bought this game if i hadnt played the first one at my friends the one time, and im glad i did cause this game is pretty damn good.
So if you are in need for a wrestling game, Get this one!! dont expect it to size up to other games like like smash bros or zelda but do expect it to be a solid game that offers hours of fun that kind of grows on you after a while. Take my word for it. Its worth adding to your collection. Enjoy.
