Ive loved wrestling games since the arcade days, i was so fond of the graphics, ... the NES wrestling games was not so much, but "Pro Wrestling" for Sega Master System ruled, but then for Sega Mega Drive (genesis), Sega CD and SNES., those where the BEST wrestling games ive ever played, then game WRESTLEMANIA Arcade followed by In Your House, they were wrestling game with mortal kombat based fighting/style. it ruined the game and Diesel was not even in that game that ruined it even more..it was okay but the old like Super WM, WWF RAW, WCW Superbrawl, WWF royal rumble ruled.

PS one... the WWF attitude era games on the PS one up to the Smackdown series (shut your mouth, here comes the pain ) were horrible meanwhile the WCW games (on PS one) was MUCH better with how to create a wrestler and go for the gold etc.. the WCW games were golden for. Even the ECW Harscore revelution game was better then WWFs.

The Smackdown games (ps2) was the series lead up to SD v. Raw. but it was not until 2006 - 2007 that the series improved and for me it was not until 2008 that game really got what I think wrestling games should be, I really love 2008. it is the best in the series. good control and gameplay and layout. But i only played it on PS2.

2009 seems fine to......2010 and 2011 ive not tried yet. but i went straight for WWE 12. and boy did i get disapointed.

and the control is not as good as it has been. its fun game if you play player v.s player. but the road to wrestlemania is not for your charachter as it has been in the previous wrestling games.., the story mode is pre-determind, and your forced to follow Sheamus and HHH until you can pick your own choice of wrestler. that is waaaaay to long of a wait.

Sure the creation of wrestler(s). is very unlimited choices and you can really create and change every detail.

flaws, wwe 12 doesnt have what a simple game like EA Sports MMA has, it has picked out a few names (just like THQ) but with MMA, they have acctual names., while WWE only sticks to its "nicknames".

WWE 12 should have had a career mode like EAs MMA. They failed as the pre-determind WM story is already set for you.

I played it for 10-20 hours... and I got sick and tired of it. you press the buttons that the game tells you to, but nothing happens. luckly I got it for free and just to get something out of this, i sold it and got 200% profit. (200kr).

So from the 4,5 that i first ranking that set as i had high hopes for this game, but after playing it..., finding out how it really is, i put 1.0.

And I do NOT think WWE 13 will be any better. so i wont get that either.
so i rather consider getting SD v RAW 2008 for ps3 aswell as the copy i already have for ps2.
