It puts you in the driver's seat and it feels just right. The car does what it's supposed to do, not what you wished.

Ups:
1. The sound of the car models (specially the Mitsubishi's Lancer WRC) is very well portrayed.
2. The damage suffered from crash, rocks and stubs is good, up until the point you curse them for ruining your rally, which was running so smoothly so far.
3. The career mode is and interesting option because to me, over time, I tend to ending up crashing on purpose or driving the wrong way just for the fun. With the career option, you are given small incremental incentives and objectives, bringing you back to the game, lengthening its Value for Money.

Downs:
1. The sound of the super-trooper category is just silly, as is the power and driving. It compromised the game credibility, for me.
2. The phantom from previous best time sometimes gets in the way and you end up loosing focus and concentration.

In a nut-shell:
Although the surroundings details are relatively poor-quality, it doesn't really matter when you pass them at +150 kph, does it?
Good for a long run and a battle with a buddy, in a pretty accurate recreation of real life driving, if you were to get the chance with these cars, at least :S
