Armageddon was great but Worms just got Reloaded
I'd play this game for hours even though there was only 2 levels a winter level and a hell level. The funniest part that got me into the game was that your using Worms hense the name and the next part they could speak. Anyways maybe i should skip passed my memories and get into a game we call Worms Reloaded.
On the psone i had Worms Armageddon i wont go to much into the game but it was awesome played hours multiplayer a max load of new weapons and of course the choice to change the worms speech banks. Well Worms Reloaded comes out does a very good job of returning Worms back to its roots.
Lets not forget its been awhile since we seen a Worms game on PC and thats since Worms 3D which wasnt a bad game but just wasnt the same as the 2D side scrolling Worms we used to know. In Worms Reloaded it brings back the traditional multiplayer mode which is amazing and im really good at it so if you want to play me come find me.
One of the most awesome features about the multiplayer mode is the custom maps. Which for the first time your able to create your own by using the mouse which has never been done in any other Worms game. The graphics in this game kill all previous Worms games released but mind you its not the game you want to go out and by a new video card cause your onboard on most current computers should be able to handle it.
Now for the weapons they have the same old and they have some new ones aswell. They brought back my favorite The Holy Grenade and as for as new ones they have a machine gun that you can place on the map so that any Worms from your components side will get shot being around it. There is many more but i havent tried them out yet.
The visuals in this game are pretty outstanding they now have moving backgrounds and special effects to your hud. The Campaign mode comes back and adds some new missions. Also when in Campaign mode when you beat levels you can earn cash which can be used in the Worms Store from the main menu which can earn you new Hats,Maps,Campaigns etc.
Now of course i just mentioned "Hats" which is a new feature in the game where you can now sport your Worms team with a Hat. I don't really care for it to much but i did find it added a bit more amusement to the game. So with all the amusement with your cute little adorable Worms and all the action and multiplayer fun i would definitely recommend you to purchase this on Steam.
I gave this game a 9 out of 10 its been awhile since we seen Worms on PC they have done a really good job with visuals and game play. The music in the game isn't that great but the game play will make you not even think about it. The music in the game though does sound pretty familiar to some of the older Worms games.
There is a lot of Nostalgia in this game if your a Worms fan at that this one will keep you playing for hours and it being a PC exclusive gives PC a good name for gaming.
