I was done with WOW.. but not anymore.

Disclaimer: this is not really a review.. there are plenty of reviews out there. I simply try to paint the picture of what kind of gamer I am, and what appeals to me (or what doesn't appeal).. that way if your undecided about this game, maybe this will help sway your decision.


I played vanilla wow and a lot of BC.. then stopped about 6 months before WOTLK came out. A long time after wotlk came out I decided to give it a try and it just didn't work for me.. the magic was gone.

Lately I have been dying to play an MMO but most of the games I try .. they suck (FFXIV) big let down.. to put it bluntly.

So I decided to give Cat a try and I am very impressed. Its hard to rate an MMO especially since I have not played to much of it yet, but so far its really good.. I am really enjoying it. I thought I was done with WOW so this is suprising to me. I am starting out with low level 80 gear because didn't I run any of the dungeons in wotlk so the enemies seem very tough to me. But its fun, not just mindless slaughter.
