This game didn’t make great first impression. It was ok. But longer I played more I liked it. Graphics are not as good as I was expecting after playing Killzone: Shadow Fall. But this is actually the only thing that I didn’t like about the game.
Game starts off a little slow. But when you about to think that this is going to be another cliché FPS our main character starts to share his thoughts on what he see and that sets really unique mood to the game. You pass some random area and Blazkowicz will say something that’s seems like a thoughts of a real person. Good stuff. It’s been a long time since FPS game introduced us with such a great protagonist. Story is good. Seems personal. Well balanced. I liked the fact that Polish people speak polish and Germans speak german. Nice touch.
Game looks very good but not nex-gen good. I think that till now the only game that really stroke me in terms of graphics was Killzone (2,3,Shadow Fall), and Rage. In Rage there were few areas where I just stopped to look at the environment. Here there’s nothing like that, what was kind of let down since this game runs on the same engine. However steady, 60fps do a really good job of making this game a great experience.
This game is one of the best FPS’s I have played. It have great mood of an old school shooters, story that’s really keeps you going and very fun gunplay. Level design allows using a different approach which is great.
This game is pure fun. Try it.
