In 1992, Id Software released this game as really just EYE CANDY! But , what they did not know was that it was the first of its kind. Wolfenstein 3D is the first FPS ever made. And, to be honest, I think its one of the best FPS' ever. Now lets talk about the details. For the graphics and sound, they are pretty awful ( but its an old game for a IBM 396!). The gameplay, on the other hand, is supurb! The level design is great. The enemy AI is even better than on some of today's games! Also, Their are only 4 weapons you can have in the game ( knife, pistol, machine gun, chain gun). Overall, this game really helped the PC market, as well as the overall game industry. .
