A great addition to any Wii owners library.

User Rating: 8.5 | Wii Sports Resort (w/Wii MotionPlus) WII
Wii Sports Resort is a game that has party play in the forefront and single player on the backburner. If you have a Wii and some friends and Wii remotes you will find resort a very enjoyable experience. And one that will have you trying to up-end your friends high scores for bragging rights.

True the graphics are not on par with the other two consoles of this gen, but resort does a pretty good job in rendering graphics. From the bashing waves of the water, or to the buildings while in flght the wii does good. You will see wind blow by while zoomed in playing archery. It helps you remember in which direction it is blowing. And the waves breaking while you play wakeboarding are done good as well.

I have yet to see any frame rate hiccups or grahical mistakes. But that does not say that there are none. Resort does use the same engine that wii sports did, but adds more scenery due to the resort title.

The sounds are pretty good too. Nothing that will blow you away like a MW or Gears, but does enough to get the job done. The airplane sounds like it should and the water moving around is good too.

Where Resort delivers is in the multiplayer experience, add some friends and bam, you have 12 games to duke it out with each other and see how can get the best score in archery or who can win in dogfighting in planes. True single player can be lacking, just as in sports, but the additions of new games, modes and make this a fun game to play.

Wii Sports Resort is a fun game that keeps you entertained for hours on end and will make you realize why you bought a Wii in the first place. To have fun with friends and family. Resort is a great addition to any Wii owners library and should be checked out.
