this game has it's faults. shaky controls, repetitive sequences, confusion on your next move...
sometimes, you'll click the prompt button to shoot a guy trying to choke you and it won't work and you'll get your neck snapped.
other times, you'll go to jump to another ridge and Rubi will mistake it as, "Oh, you want me to jump OFF the building? Okay!" and you'll plunge to your death.
except for the interesting cutscenes and cool scenarios like the car chase, the game is rather repetitive. you'll find your way around to who you're looking for, kill some people while you're at it, get locked into an arena, kill the spawn doors and the rest of the people in the arena- that's it. kaput.
and like the video review said, it may not be the coolest in style, either.
but also like the video review, you won't care all that much because you'll be having quite a good time jumping off walls to slash people with your katanas; swinging from one pole to the other while shooting.
yeah, the controls'll annoy you. the redundancy will annoy you. but you won't care when you see blood splash all over Rubi's face, the environment turn red and your victims black; their blood white. so you got a little Sin City in there, too.
give the game a try. even if you hate it, you won't regret it.
