In my opinion this game along with World Tour wrote the book on how wrestling games should be.

You remember the days when you had to try long and hard before your wrestler was able to perform his finisher? You had to gain momentum and felt pretty darn good after you won the match? The times have changed in the wrestling scene, but any games to date don't come close to the legendary level that this game brought to the table. One of the things I like about this game is the fact you can edit original characters, which isn't something you can do on any of the new games. But of course there is a few negatives to the game, but not many. You stil can't create your own wrestler up that time period when it came out, but you were to busy enjoying the matches that'd you'd more the likely forgot about it. To put it short and simple, this is the type of game you have fun playing with a friend. I've had a few wrestling parties that involved every wrestling game imaginable but the one that was sought and played the most.....was WCW/NWO REVENGE!
