I have, for the longest time, loved the concept of Wario. The evil darker half of Mario who wants nothing more than to be richer and more powerful than his adversary ever could be! Wario won't let no one stand in his way, that includes YOU! So step back and let Wario take control of his land, and for the 4th time mind you!
What more can I say! Read on!

The gaming controls are so easy it’s like the GBA becomes a part of you! Wario has all the boring Mario moves like jumping and head butting blocks, but since it's Wario he has a whole new arsenal to differentiate from his Red Capped adversary! What would a Wario game me without the use of his tremendous strength and deviousness!?!? He uses everything to his advantage and even relies on some natural effects to assist him in his quest for riches! From allergic reactions to bees which make him float. To the unsavory outcomes of eating what you shouldn't, Wario finds a way to use his new disadvantages!
There is also a "quick save" feature (which in my opinion all GBA titles should have this feature) available for gamers on the go! As always riches aren't easy to obtain, there will be puzzles galore to figure out to gain ultimate wealth and you gotta collect "gem" shards to encounter the boss at the end of the chaptered area! Once you reach the end of the level you gotta run the hell out of the stage (in reverse) with the ghost-key, and make it out before the frog-bomb goes off!
Wario has his work cut out for him!
There really is no negatives to this title except maybe the puzzles are either too easy or too hard, but that is how EVERY game progresses.

Wario storms a newly discovered Pyramid and attempts to makes his way out with all the goods held inside! Some archeologist shows up and "assist" Wario with his plunder! That's what I call a forceful acquaintances!!

This game has a nice look to it for a GBA title, you also gotta remember that Nintendo did release this game, so when Nintendo releases a game for a Nintendo product, it is normally far above the competition! Ok, lets continue. Wario’s land looks beautiful and Wario himself looks beefier and more intimidating this time around which makes his enemies look very pathetic and worth having their arses handed to them by Wario!
-Negative-
The actual background and stage outline are very basic (or boring depending on your view). I know it isn't meant to be revolutionary, but I was kinda expecting the stages to be a bit more dark and disturbing for a Wario title...

The biggest downfall to this title is the music not compatible with the outstanding gameplay. Each stage is kinda boring and the music seems broken and empty. Normally I don't care about GBA sound, but why is it Mario gets the whole package in his titles, and Wario always seems to get stiffed on one thing or another. Why can't Wario EVER get ahead!
The FX are nice thought, and Wario's voice is always the same. Nasty and gravely! Just as we like it!

There are also a TON of smaller side games (sorta like the first test run of the WarioWare series) which are entertaining and fun to play! There is alot of treasures to collect and other hidden goodies to behold if you are the adventurous type! Go hunting! I won't tell if you won't!
