This game is perfect. Flawless. It is my favorite game on the GBA and my favorite platformer by far.
Nintendo hit the nail on the head with this one. I am so glad it was put on the 3DS estore, but unfortunately only for ambassadors.
Let's go over it.
1- Controls
The controls aren't bad at all. B=Punch Attack, and R= Headbutt are the only controls you'll need to know to manage.
2- Graphics
Gameplay > Graphics, however, they're great for the gameboy.
3- Gameplay
Great! Great enemies, and the bosses are so fun. There are also multiple endings to the game and a special Hard mode unlocked after beating it.
4- Overall
10/10. I love this game and It is my favorite Mario classic. You may not consider it a Mario game, but it's better than one in my opinion. Plus, Wario is Mario's rival so technically this game does involve Mario.
Plot:
Wario heads to the pyramid owned by Princess Shokora as it has been taken over by the Golden Diva. He goes through many strange areas to unlock the secret of the pyramid.
