Wario's best game to date! It's got everything you'll ever want in a treasure hunt.
The first thing you'll notice about Wario Land 3 is that there's two ways you can go about this game. Either you can complete the "story" objective and collect the five music boxes, or you can just be plain greedy and go after the world's 100 treasures. Some aren't hard to grab, some are plain annoying, and some are very difficult to grab. There are required treasures to grab if you want all 5 music boxes, but what about the others? Some are just for the sake of collecting but other treasures will open up new levels that aren't in the "story" path. So the gameplay here is great, as you can take multiple paths to either objective!
The graphics are questionable, but hey, it's Game Boy. They ain't supposed to be Pixar quality. But Wario isn't his normal colors (he should be), and a couple of other things seem a bit off. Meh, it doesn't matter.
The replay value for this game is just unbelivable. As I previously stated, there's 100 treasures total to collect. But not just that, there's also 8 musical coins in every level that you must hunt down. Some are easy to collect, others...well...get an FAQ ready! Also there's an unlockable golf mini-game if you've collected 7 certain treasures!
You'll have hours of enjoyment playing this game, and it doesn't really tire out after playing it so much. With a buttload of treasures to collect (as well as music coins), this game can't be rated anything lower than a 9! If you do, you're insulting this game! The fact of it is, this is the best treasure hunt game I've ever played (albeit there's not many out there), and will definitely hold your interest for a long time.
