Loved it, liked it, hated it

I was so eager for the release of Warhammer Online. The hype, the videos, the graphics, the fact that Mythic was developing it, was my drive to get my hands on this game. When I got beta, I was overjoyed, but I beta tested this game for a year and a half, during which time I was biting my nails that "it was just beta and things would get better ...". I struggled daily with a dreaded attitude that perhaps all our intelligent feedback on the boards would ensure some spark of change in certain areas, but alas, without much luck. Still upon release I entered the game with a guild of over 400+ pvp'ers, all on the hope of a new adventure, but disappointment ensued that drove us all to the brink of insanity. The classes were extremely unbalanced, which made PvP, the entire system the game revolved around, extremely lack in luster for both those who were overpowered (won all the time), and for those who needed a bit more tweaking (died consistently). There was really no PvE raiding, aside from the group quests, which left PvP the stand-alone goal and with unbalanced classes, nobody PvP'd! When people started to leave, who was there to PvP with/against? I loved Mythic, but again, EA took something so enticing and devoured it's soul.
