Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution

This game has definatly evolved

Ever since virtual fighter 2 the series has attracted a lot of attention. Fighter's megamix was a intersting spin off but other than that most of the game mechanics have been intact since vf2.

The latest addition to the series is breathtaking. Sega has wisley chosen to keep much of the game mechanics as before making significant improvements to sound, music and visuals to promote the series to the current generation.

The game feels and plays almost flawlessly, well balanced, many characters to choose from and sensible controls.

I guess the only downside to this title is the low replay value. Like the previous games in the series it is unlikely that this game warrents more than 20 hours of play. (Getting through the game with 1 character takes no more than half an hour)

  It's simple, VF4Evolution is the best PS2 brawler, period. Tekken, Soul calibur, and DOA aren't even on the same league.
